New Year ~ New Challenge!
Happy {belated} New Year to all you Scrapfastic readers! First, let me apologize for getting this post up so late. I totally dropped the ball, but I promise you won’t be disappointed.
For the first Scrapfastic challenge of 2010, I thought I’d do something super-easy. The New Year is a new beginning for many people. They see it as a chance to start over and work towards a goal that they didn’t accomplish in the previous year.
So, your challenge is to simply post your New Year’s Resolution(s) in the comment section below. At the end of the month, I will randomly pick one person who will win a $10 GC for La’s amazing goodies!
BONUS: If you scrap a page of your resolutions using La’s designs and post a link to it here in the comment section, you will get another entry into the contest! (Only one resolution entry per person and one layout entry per person).
And here are a couple of layouts by the team to help you with inspiration!

One of my goals this year is to be better at journaling. I usually don’t journal at the time and it may take months before I scrap the photo and then I have to think back . So I plan to journal little bits as something happens so that I have what I need when I get round to scrapping the pic/event

I have set a few goals this year. One of them is to focus more on the housework and organization instead of spending so much time on the computer

One of my resolutions this year is to take more photos and scrap more. Last year there were months where I only took one or two photos, and I hardly scrapped. So with the help of SSD’s new challenges, I’m going to get at least a dozen pages/hybrid projects done per month!

January 11th, 2010 at 5:59 pm
I did the big 5 (again, lol) this year! Eat healthier, more exercise, more sleep, save money, drink more water! I think these will just be my reoccurring resolutions every year! lol

My resolution this year is simple in principle. I want to learn to relax and take things in stride. With my first child due in April, I need to learn not to let evey single little thing stress me like I do now. It’s a struggle to be sure as I come from a long line of worriers.

My resolutions are to stay on an exercise routine and eat healthier which will hopefully lead to a big weight loss. Also to spend less time on the computer and more time keeping my house tidy!
January 12th, 2010 at 6:38 am
My main goal is to be more active and stick with a somewhat regular exercise routine (walking-swimming) for pain management issues. I seriously need to make this a life change and not a hit and miss thing.
January 12th, 2010 at 10:49 pm
My goals are to have a newer family photo taken, and to have a family date day, since there’s no way DH and I will manage date nights for ourselves. LOL
I scrapped my resolutions with In the City: http://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=117435&ppuser=698

I am working on a layout about my “fun 2010 New Year’s Resolutions” and the LO text is below. I need to do all the eat healthy, lose weight, exercise stuff too.
1. Learn to use my new Nikon D3000 camera and SB-600 Flash to the best of my abilities (and thereby justifying its purchase to my husband).
2. Take a photo a day and complete a P365 digital scrapbook album.
3. Learn to use my Epson 4490 Photo Scanner to scan old photos, memorabilia, and existing paper-based scrapbooking products. (You know, the scanner that I bought over three years ago, opened out of the box a year and a half ago and have set-up and moved twice, but still have never learned to use?)
4. Actively participate in the online digital scrapbook community by posting layouts, participating in challenges and getting to know folks.
5. Develop a file management and organization system to keep track of and protect all my digital scrapbook goodies, layouts and photos.
6. Not go into further debt, ignore my family, give up on getting fit or cease to periodically clean the house to do any of the above. (LOL)
