Hi everyone!! It’s Samara and I’m here posting my VERY first La Blog entry!

As you know, I ADORE hybrid.  I was looking for a simple gift idea to post for you all.   I sure hope you enjoy!

The basic direction is to create a tube.  Squeeze and adhere one side of the tube, then squeen the opposite side and adhere with ribbon.

I made these for a friend that is getting married, she asked me to come up with some simple favors.  To secure the bottom edges, I used embroidery floss to stitch a blanket stitch and on the other, I used french knots.

Alright so, here’s the scoop, you want a free La kit of your choice and I want to hear myself type.  It’s win-win, really.  So here we go… A NEW CHALLENGE (and she’s a beaut)!

I ADORE simplicity in layouts… namely the creative use of “white space”.  White space, negative space, abyss of nothingness interrupted by total awesomeness, whatever you want to call it, I love it!

So I wantcha to create a page using “white space”!  Here are some examples by Team La to get your creative gears a-turnin’.
