Hey all you La La Land fans!!! It’s almost April….can you believe it!!! Well we have a very sweet treat for you today!!! A gorgeous april desktop made using one of La’s newer kits….it just perfect for scrapping those springtime pictures!!! Stand With Me In The Rain….sin’t it just beautiful!?!?!

Who let the Voodoo loose on La’s blog? Oh snap, dawgs, that’s right, we’re gonna scrap it like it’s hot.

Okay, this is going to be a toughie. This is all about all of those unused profile self-portraits you snap of yourself and then hide on your drive. Bust ‘em out, show us who you were when you took those pics. One day, after you’re gone (they don’t call me Voodoo for nothin’), somebody is going to go through your drives, maybe your kids or your spouse, and they’re going to find these pictures and think, “Wow. Who was she when she took these pictures? My mom/wife/sister/daughter was amazing. Why have I never seen all of these pictures?”

This one is from a session I did while being stood up by my Boy Toy of the month, this was way back in Nov 2005, about 6 months shy of starting to date the love of my life and father of my children. So I was a different person then, going through a lot of changes, dating a lot of different guys, and looking for myself desperately.

The quote on my page is from Alice in Wonderland, “The Caterpillar and Alice looked at each other for some time in silence: at last the Caterpillar took the hookah out of its mouth, and addressed her in a languid, sleepy voice. `Who are YOU?’ said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Phew…where am I from? Born in Southern Cali, moved to Missouri when I was 9 and grew up there really. Yes…I am from MO. It is ‘home’.

April 2008. Jenny made me do it. She wouldn’t shut up about it.

What kind of equipment do you use, camera, programs, tablet, etc?
I use PSE 5 *gasp* and it does the job…mostly. No tablet here, they are the devil. Take my piccies with a Nikon D-60.

How long have you been with Lauren?
No clue really. Maybe since around August of last year.

Favorite Lauren kit?
Seriously? Sooo hard to pick!
I’m going with Stormy Weather though…it’s just so friggin cute!!

What do you do when you’re not scrappin’?
Play with my kids!! I wish I could say read, but I kinda gave that up when I started scrapping. Cuddle up and watch TV with my hubby. Oh and clean!

Usually not. When I’m laughing in real life you usually will get about 40 of these guys—> and/or a BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Mr. O’Llama as homage to my friend the President and La’s hatred of all things llama.

What random, unnecessary thing would you want with you on a deserted island?
Paper Plates. The sturdy Dixie ones! You never know when you’ll have visitors who will most likely want to dine with you over a coconut and some plankton. In that case I would just be devastated if I didn’t have something decent to eat off of. Devastated.

Brandy here with a little goodie for you! I’ve been so busy it seems latley that I haven’t had time to scrap like I would like to, so I’ve been using quick pages more and more. Well I finally had time to work on a layout (sorry, it’s for a challenge and I can’t show it right now which is sad because well it’s cute lol), and I thought that the layout would make a super cute quick page and the idea was born. Of course I tweaked it a bit from my layout, but Lauren’s designs work so well together it’s rather easy to mix and match them. In this quick page I used Bumble Bee Mine, Keep You Forever, He Geek, You Make My World Go Round, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up, Rainbow ABC’s, and lastly a couple things from a kit that Lauren has coming out this week.

So, now onto the new challenge! I thought long & hard about what my challenge should be & I knew that I wanted something different. So, my challenge to you is to scrap INSIDE! Inside of what? Anything! This can be the inside of your purse, camera bag, what songs are in your MP3 player, what goes on inside your head, what is inside of you (who you are as a person), anything “inside” goes! Your title must include the word “inside”! For my LO, I scrapped the inside of my piano! So, you can see, that if you use your imagination, you could really come up w/some different ideas! I hope y’all really enjoy this challenge as much as I did! And, as always, the winner will win a fabulous prize from La!!! Just post a link to your layout in the comments!
