September Challenge–What’s Your Goal?

Hi all! Jennifer here with a brand new challenge for you. We all need goals, right? It’s important to have something to focus on that betters ourselves–not our husband, partners, kids, etc. This month, I want you to tell me about your personal goal. What do you want to accomplish that will be just for you??? Recently, I decided to (finally) finish losing the baby weight from my last pregnancy. It was a HARD decsion and even harder to get focused, but once I did, it sure has been worth it! For one entry, just reply in the comments section and tell me about your goal. If you’d like 2 entries, scrap it! I scrapped about my goal here:

Wow, can you all believe that it is the 20th of August!?!?! It just seems like yesterday my kids were hopping off the bus from their last day of school with the gleam of a summer’s worth of adventures shining in their eyes!!! And now in just 10 short days those same kids (plus one since my oldest son starts kindy this year) are gonna hop back on that bus and head back to school with summer sun kissed skin and many many tales of summer fun to share with their friends!! *sigh* This time of year is so bittersweet for me, I love the hazy lazy days of summer with nothing to do but have fun and I’m so sad to see those go, but I also love and crave the structure that school days bring to my crazy chaotic house!!! I also find that this time of the year my mojo starts to wander, not sure if it’s the hectic-ness of getting back into a routine/schedule. It could be that it too is mourning the loss of sunny summer days too, but all I know if I open open PS to scrap and stare at it for 10, 15, 20 minutes and nothing “comes”. Then I close it and open up Firefox and aimlessly wander the internet for extended periods of time….trying to find something….anything to inspire me!!! But today I’ve hopefully found the answer to my little problem. In my blog surfing I came across a link to a very talented man, Carl Kleiner. He is a still life photographer out of Stockholm and his work is just beautiful/amazing/stunning!!! You can checkout his site ::HERE:: And I’ll share just a handful of his work that I just found so beautiful and inspiring!!!

This one almost inspires me to do a fantasy page….ALMOST!!! *lol*

New Releases erm.. Newsletter?

hiya! La Here :] Since my newsletter seems to be plllb’ing itself- and i’m eyeballs deep in packing.. I’m just going to c&p the newsletter to the bloggie <3

Hey Everyone! I’ll have a short and sweet newsletter for you all this week as I’m in a sea of boxes and Crazy! hah. Moving alone, with a child- is…….. well not as fun as I imagined it would be. I did want to give you all an update as I promised I’d let you know about any downtime etc in my last newsletter. As of now- we look to be good for a smooth easy transition- but you know things never go as planned. I’m scheduled for minimal downtime, about the time it will take me to carry my computer to my car and drive to the new apartment. Internet and so forth will be activated and de-activated on the same day so we’ll see. Either way I’ll be scarce the 6th-8th as I don’t think sitting on the computer reading emails or doodling would please those huffing my heavy stuff up to the apartment for me So long story short.. I will be within reach- for the most part.

I did put one new kit up in the store for you all today. In case you missed my latest collab with my bff shawna clingerman- it’s now available at my personal store www.scrapfasticdesigns.com for 20% off through wed.

This kit is really meaningful to both of us- especially with everything the two of us have gone through (separately- but well, she’s my bff.. so we’ve lived it all together :p) the past year. She’s an amazing woman and I’m so proud of how far she’s come. She’s my strength and just the greatest friend I Could ever ask for <3 Sorry.. Had to have a sappy weird moment there. Shhh.
