Hello, Lisa here with this months inspiration post!

At the risk of sounding like a complete loser, I am in love with my iPhone and need it surgically removed from my hands. So it’s fitting that my phone was the inspiration for my layout I just love blocking, and I think that’s why I love the iPhone so much, all the little square icons just lined up ever so neatly and perfectly. I used the kit “Everything you are” by La and Kristen Cronin-Barrow for this layout.

Anyway, come and play along with me and use your phone as a starting point for some inspiration Whether it be the pattern or colour of the case, or scrapping about a phone conversation, little kids playing with phones, maybe even scrap about your job if you use the phone a lot. Be creative and have fun!

A big hello to all of La’s awesome blog readers from Lena! I can’t think of anything more inspiring than chocolate! Do you ever find yourself blog hopping and before you know it you’ve stumbled upon the coolest thing ever? And then not only do you want to share it with everyone, you’re thinking to yourself, “that would be awesome inspiration for a layout?”

I thought you might! I’d love it if you’d play along with me!

I found these SUPER AWESOME candy bars.

Not only do I really want to try them, but I felt truly inspired by the simple graphic ads in the post. So if you want to play along with me, create a layout with this as your inspiration. What do you take from it? Maybe the colors? Maybe the text? Or even the square blocking!

I created this layout, inspired by both the colors of the tortilla lime + salt ad and the text style.

I asked my sister Tabatha if she would play along with us, and she did a layout inspired by the cream and chocolate colors of the ad.
