Wow, can you all believe that it is the 20th of August!?!?! It just seems like yesterday my kids were hopping off the bus from their last day of school with the gleam of a summer’s worth of adventures shining in their eyes!!! And now in just 10 short days those same kids (plus one since my oldest son starts kindy this year) are gonna hop back on that bus and head back to school with summer sun kissed skin and many many tales of summer fun to share with their friends!! *sigh* This time of year is so bittersweet for me, I love the hazy lazy days of summer with nothing to do but have fun and I’m so sad to see those go, but I also love and crave the structure that school days bring to my crazy chaotic house!!! I also find that this time of the year my mojo starts to wander, not sure if it’s the hectic-ness of getting back into a routine/schedule. It could be that it too is mourning the loss of sunny summer days too, but all I know if I open open PS to scrap and stare at it for 10, 15, 20 minutes and nothing “comes”. Then I close it and open up Firefox and aimlessly wander the internet for extended periods of time….trying to find something….anything to inspire me!!! But today I’ve hopefully found the answer to my little problem. In my blog surfing I came across a link to a very talented man, Carl Kleiner. He is a still life photographer out of Stockholm and his work is just beautiful/amazing/stunning!!! You can checkout his site ::HERE:: And I’ll share just a handful of his work that I just found so beautiful and inspiring!!!

hiya! La Here :] Since my newsletter seems to be plllb’ing itself- and i’m eyeballs deep in packing.. I’m just going to c&p the newsletter to the bloggie <3

Hey Everyone! I’ll have a short and sweet newsletter for you all this week as I’m in a sea of boxes and Crazy! hah. Moving alone, with a child- is…….. well not as fun as I imagined it would be. I did want to give you all an update as I promised I’d let you know about any downtime etc in my last newsletter. As of now- we look to be good for a smooth easy transition- but you know things never go as planned. I’m scheduled for minimal downtime, about the time it will take me to carry my computer to my car and drive to the new apartment. Internet and so forth will be activated and de-activated on the same day so we’ll see. Either way I’ll be scarce the 6th-8th as I don’t think sitting on the computer reading emails or doodling would please those huffing my heavy stuff up to the apartment for me So long story short.. I will be within reach- for the most part.

LOL I’m a lil tired and giddy. La here bringing you some new great awesomeness this week! First I’m going to babble though- because this is what I do. I went to see an apartment today- it was PERFECT. perfect location, perfect size, perfect for kidlet and I.. just perfect. I’ll find out tomorrow if it’s going to be OURS– but I’m hoping and hoping and HOPING that it is. We really need this- for a zillion reasons that I’ll spare you all. hah. So yes, please cross your fingers for us! <3

Hello, Lisa here with this months inspiration post!

At the risk of sounding like a complete loser, I am in love with my iPhone and need it surgically removed from my hands. So it’s fitting that my phone was the inspiration for my layout I just love blocking, and I think that’s why I love the iPhone so much, all the little square icons just lined up ever so neatly and perfectly. I used the kit “Everything you are” by La and Kristen Cronin-Barrow for this layout.

Anyway, come and play along with me and use your phone as a starting point for some inspiration Whether it be the pattern or colour of the case, or scrapping about a phone conversation, little kids playing with phones, maybe even scrap about your job if you use the phone a lot. Be creative and have fun!
