Hey there everyone! It’s Debra here today with a look at the new releases! La has an amazing collab this week with the oh-so talented Micheline Martin and then some super cool layered word art template packs!

So for the first goodie, we have Forever Kinda Friend. I was so happy to see that La and Micheline got together again to do a collab. She’s amazing and I think they work so well together. I’ve always loved their collabs! The colors here are so yummy…all those fabulous elements and an awesome alpha to go with it! Love it!

We have a slow morning in La land this Monday with no new releases, but I did want to let everyone know that the charity collab One Love is now out, with all the proceeds going to Haiti!

“One love refers to the universal love and respect expressed by all people for all people, regardless of race, creed, or color.”

Forty-eight designers from around the community have joined together to bring you this incredible kit with the common purpose of raising funds for Haitian aid and relief.  Our theme, “One Love”, symbolizes not only our heartfelt effort to help the people of Haiti, but also encompasses the diverse styles of all the designers involved in this project.  This kit represents the diversity of our community and shows that even though we are all different, when we come together the result is truly spectacular. 

The profits from the sale of this kit will be donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.  We chose the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund not only because it embodies the spirit of One Love, but also because 100% of the donations will go to the relief and recovery efforts in Haiti and because they are working to provide both immediate relief and long-term support to the earthquake survivors.

This beautiful kit includes 114 papers, 356 elements, 3 alphabets, 6 page templates and 1 hybrid template.

And I used the template with my Santa Baby LO, but I rotated the template 90 degrees and only used one photo.

That is the glorious thing about templates, you can use them “as is” or you can flip them, rotate them, change up the elements or number of photos and have a brand new page!!! Templates are so useful to help you get your memories scrapped and to help jump start your creativity!!! So when you are feeling down in those mojoless dumps I hope you can turn to this template to help give that nudge in the right direction that you need!!!

Happy {belated} New Year to all you Scrapfastic readers!  First, let me apologize for getting this post up so late.  I totally dropped the ball, but I promise you won’t be disappointed.

For the first Scrapfastic challenge of 2010, I thought I’d do something super-easy.  The New Year is a new beginning for many people.  They see it as a chance to start over and work towards a goal that they didn’t accomplish in the previous year.
